King Ryan Events Urban King’s Hip Hop Showcase June 2010 “A.2.I.” is becoming a very popular phrase around the Southern Los Angeles area. The group of young Hip Hop performers, “Addicted 2 Ink”, are quickly gaining a name for themselves throughout the local Hip Hop talent showcase scene. They are a raucous group that are tattooed from head to toe and very talented nonetheless. Their stage presence and charisma is unmatched and it’s going to be difficult for their talents to go unrecognized for very long. A.2.I. has passion and charisma and now they're headed to Warner Bros Records this week for a one on one consultation with the label executives.
On Saturday, June 19th at Cinespace Nightclub in Hollywood California, a new member of the famed “A.2.I.” group won the prestigious crown of Urban King. He goes by the name “Veggy” and his talent was noticed by all in attendance including Warner Bros Records representative Roderick Scott. “I can’t deny the talent.” said Scott. “…the crowd was into their performance and I really like what they were doing on stage.”
King Ryan Events monthly Hip Hop showcase, Urban King’s, has helped record label representatives re-discover the raw talent at performance venues in Hollywood, California. Performers are coming in from different cities to show the record labels their talent as well. West Virginia based Hip Hop performer, Johnny Harmonic, was able to capture the crowd and Roderick Scott’s attention with his Southern style and flawless delivery.
Warner Bros Records representative Roderick Scott had some help with judging the Hip Hop competition. Music industry associates Anthony Jefferson of Violator West management and “Dinero” of Audio Shop productions stopped by to network with the performers and help judge the Hip Hop showcase.
